Opportunity for members of the public to speak to the Commission on any subject matter within the Commission's jurisdiction.
WORKSHOP ITEM
Note: As a "Workshop" this meeting is intended to focus primarily on discussion by and among Commission members and County staff. While public testimony may be taken, it is recommended that extensive testimony from the public be deferred until a future Planning Commission hearing, which will be scheduled when a draft General Plan 2020 has been formulated.
- 2.General Plan 2020
(Blake) This is a request that the Commission discuss and provide staff with direction concerning the matters to be considered as part of the proposed amendment of the San Diego County General Plan "GP 2020". Staff requests that the Commission provide direction concerning the GPA Process, the Regional Land Use and Population Distribution Report, the Draft Regional Goals, Policies and Standards, the Regional Circulation Analysis, Public Facilities/Infrastructure, Environmental Factors/Constraints, and any other matter the Commission considers relevant to General Plan 2020.
